Good Morning and Happy Saturday to all,
Firstly, I would like to say I cannot believe it is already the last week of February, I always say it, but where has the time gone, it felt like yesterday the year had just begun.
Thinking about it though it has been a big year for all so far, recently I have been talking to a lot of separate and very different people all feeling the same about the past couple months, all telling me that they are already exhausted and its only February.
Then sometimes you can feel like nothing is happening then six months you look back and see how much actually has changed, somethings for the better and some for the worse. We all get challenges but I really do believe they are a series of tests to see how strong you are and remembering it’s not how you fall down, it’s how you get up that makes all the difference.
These challenges we all face in this life, I personally see them as opportunities for self-growth and in those situations it doesn’t make the pain hurt any less, trust me, but it does help with the recovery, it helps with your outlook on the situation and there is always a reason it has happened, a lesson you may need to learn, it may bring to life and expose people that you didn’t see in that light previously.
“Challenges are what makes life interesting, overcoming them is what makes them meaningful”
Life is a choice, you can choose to smile, you can choose to be happy, it all starts and ends in your own mind, only you have control of your own thoughts. Some people make you feel great about yourself, you may feel uplifted in their presents and then others make you feel worse about yourself. You do have a choice though not to take their comments or negative energy on board. It may sometimes feel impossible, but at times we all need to block, deflect and break away from the negativity and energy suckers of the world.
For whatever reason, something has or hasn’t happened to you, always remember that everything does happen for a reason, even if it makes no sense to you at the time, and that people and things are in your life for a reason or a season. I have done this many of times, you can really need or want something, then months later look at that same possession and wonder to yourself why you ever needed it in the first place.
This goes for people as well; most people want the growth and the changes that come with the growth, without the pain and inconvenience and unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. We as people all grow at different rates due to the challenges and situations that arise in our lives, meaning that some people we naturally outgrow as we have already received all the lessons we can from that person and it is time to let go and move on. Life was never meant to easy and if it were, we truly couldn’t appreciate all the great things that surround us in our everyday lives.
Choose to be happy, smile and do whatever makes you happy. Surround yourself with kind happy people that make you feel good and forget the haters. It’s never too late to start, as we say in our household, “Today is the day. It’s a new day. It’s a fresh start”.
