Hey Everyone,
I hope you all have had a wonderful and safe Easter surrounded by your loved ones. This time of year, is always great for that last ditch to the water before next summer as the cold weather is certainly on its way as the Melbourne winter chill has already started to kick in.
My last blog post was about Roots and Wings, a post about friends, family and how I believe they remind us about love, the importance of life and they can help ground us in ways needed and our wings being those beautiful things we have that lift us up and help us go after those dreams, giving us the courage to go where we need to go in this life.
We all have a past, good, bad, ugly and for some the un-imaginable. We never know when we meet a stranger their past, or the trauma they may have endured in their life. We meet and see them for who they are today and not who they may have been or what may have happened in the past. For me, when I speak of my past and being grateful, I am grateful for overcoming the things that at times I didn’t think I could. I have accepted my past as I believe for myself and myself only, that I wouldn’t be where I am today because if things had been different, I may have made different decisions and life as I know it today wouldn’t exist.
Anyone that knows me or has read my previous posts know that I LOVE writing and I am grateful to those particular family members and friends who have stood by me and have always had my back through the good and bad times, as for some people their families can be the root of their pain.
It has taken me a long time to navigate my thoughts and to channel them into the directions that best serve me. The more I think positive the more good that comes into my world. When I was feeling low and defeated I discovered writing and I am grateful for that as I now know another part of myself that has revealed, and the positive things that have come since then have been so rewarding, and looking back at that time in my life, I never could of imagined this would have been the outcome.
The past week I received my first professional book review and it was a surreal feeling reading their feedback back that someone else has enjoyed reading my book almost as much as I did writing it.
“A deftly compelling psychological thriller of a read from beginning to end, “Moore, Than A Pretty Face” by Ashlee Wynters is an absorbing page turner by an impressively talented author and very highly recommended.”
Midwest Book Review
The feedback they left was fantastic and I couldn’t be happier. Sometimes in life you can feel like nothing is happening, you just don’t realise that it is all happening, it’s just all happening in the background and you just can’t see it.
It does all work out in your favor eventually, you just need to do the ground work, keep those positive vibes happening and then there is no limit to what you can achieve.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week, be true and kind to one another and please remember… Every day is a new day to try, you can quit your day job, just don’t ever give up on yourself or your dream.
If you enjoyed this post, I’d be very grateful if you’d help it spread by emailing it to a friend or sharing it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Thank you!
