Hey Friends,
Happy Friday!
Recently I have noticed everyone feeling flat, tired and drained. It may be partly due to the wintery blast we have received, but it also could be how many things are going on in our lives.
I have been feeling this, but also a strong overwhelming feeling of excitement as I know that things are about to change. I can feel it deep in my core that life really is about to change, and all the hard work, sweat and tears are about to pay off.
As I had mentioned in my previous post, our fears can hold us back from achieving our dreams and desires. I know that I have now mentally and emotionally stepped into this new phase, were I am not afraid of trying and being rejected. The only fear I have is not throwing enough of myself at the future I would like for myself.
This is only the beginning, and I am ready for this. This quote that really resonates with me at the moment,
“Some beautiful paths can’t be discovered without getting lost”
Yes! We all feel this at times, we want something so bad, don’t know how to get it, feels too hard, so we either get lost amongst it all, or we give up.
I have felt these cycles of feeling lost for the past four years and have always found a clear path to take once I have experienced what I needed to gain from that journey. Sometimes we can’t see where we are going, but that is the exciting part, as it is a mystery, the surprise of life that will bring you everything you require.
The more I meet and talk to people the more I learn how many others can relate to this, the problem is no one talks about any of these subjects. It’s sad because the more we talk, the more we discover that we are all human and all encounter difficulties at times, regardless of the life you live. Life isn’t always easy and sometimes you will get hurt, and other times, unfortunately you will hurt others unintentionally, I am learning very quickly you can’t please everyone with the decisions you make but sacrificing your happiness to avoid the pain of another is damaging to your future.
So, when you’re not thinking clearly or can’t see the path you are walking on, take a breath, slow down and know that you are safe and loved and embrace this time as it will all make sense to you when you come out the other side. You will look back and realise that certain events had to happen for you to be where you are right now, enjoying this new phase of life.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week, be true and kind to yourself and others and please remember… every day is a new chance to try, it’s a chance for a fresh start, try and find something new daily that you love about yourself, affirmations are the key to self-acceptance and don’t ever give up on yourself or your dream… Life is too short to be mediocre.
If you enjoyed this post, I’d be very grateful if you’d help it spread by emailing it to a friend or sharing it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Thank you!
