Hey Everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great week and are excited about getting into the weekend. This week I am talking about limitations and self-sabotage. We all have dreams, and we are all more than capable of achieving great things, if we really go for them, but most of us give up and think it was too hard and that it wasn’t meant to be!
Some people can be so critical and judgmental of themselves; they can tear down any self-confidence they did have. I know because, I have done it to myself. I was picked on by girls in my school, the normal bullies you get, but I do believe to this day, I have said far worse things to myself about myself, than any of those bullies ever did with all their name calling!
So, if belittling yourself wasn’t enough, you then have other people in your ear telling you that it’s only a dream, it’s impossible, check back into reality, you’re only wasting your time and you will only end up disappointed! People making statements like that, actually has nothing to do with you, in actual fact, they are saying that they are scared and they wouldn’t be able to achieve that, so instead of being honest, they put their negativity and insecurities onto you.
It happens all the time. People putting their dramas onto you and making you feel guilty for wanting to achieve more. If one person out there has done it, it means it is achievable! Dreams that are made of substance are what can truly make you feel happy. For instance, having a dream to have a lot of money is not going to bring happiness. But having a job that allows you to be yourself and help people, while getting paid, now that is what can make you feel good and happy and you will keep getting up every day to go to that job.
We are all special and unique in different ways, and deep down we all know what we are capable of! We get moments, glimpses of our potential and our dream life, but you must work hard, ignore the negative people who want you to fail, stop limiting yourself, start complimenting yourself, and picturing your dreams coming true, as if there was nothing stopping them from coming and use all your inner strength to go after what you want and believe and then go fight like crazy for it.
It is easy to give up, to say it was too hard, but you must remember that in thirty, forty years, you have live with those decisions, no one else does, so listen to your inner child and heart and do what feels right and you will never fail, you will only succeed, as you kept true to yourself and your beliefs.
“Your limitation? It’s only your imagination!”
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your weekend, be true and kind to one another and please remember… Every day is a new day to try, you can quit your day job, just don’t ever give up on yourself or your dream.
