Hey Everyone,
I hope your weekend is off to a great start. This week I am talking about finding your happy road. We all come from different backgrounds and all have very different experiences, making no journey the same, none of them being right or wrong. Where we are in this current moment, we are here for a reason, reasons that may not make sense to us right in this moment, but I do believe that they will later on down the track when thinking back to why and what we have learnt from it.
Sometimes we are on a road, then a few unexpected things happen “called life”, those pot holes spring up out of nowhere and cause us to veer into a completely different direction. When that happens, remember that is okay, go with it, it may not have been the path you first had foreseen but it is there to guide you. We are always thinking big, but in most cases, it’s the smallest of decisions that end up changing our lives as we know them.
It can be hard to try and find balance in our lives, staying grounded, all whilst trying to chase our dreams. The expectations we put on ourselves can be toxic, the wanting for what others have. It is really important to not look at other people’s journeys and judge, whether that judgment is negative or jealously. Some people’s lives may look like a postcard, fun and carefree, but the truth is, we don’t really know what they have had to go through to get to this point of acceptance. Acceptance is the key, it isn’t settling, nor is it perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections, and when you get to that state of acceptance, it creates the most fertile soil for you to grow from.
Each day you have to take the good with the bad, love what you have and always remember what you had. It’s important to your own self growth, to forgive, but never forget, learn from the pain and from those mistakes, and know that people will change, things most certainly will go wrong, but always remember the road goes on.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your weekend, be true and kind to one another and please remember… Every day is a new day to try, you can quit your day job, just don’t ever give up on yourself or your dream.
If you enjoyed this post, I’d be very grateful if you’d help it spread by emailing it to a friend or sharing it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Thank you!
